The Raiders finished 10-7 last season, good enough for the team’s first playoff berth since 2016. The team still lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round as the organization continues to search for its first postseason win since losing in the Super Bowl after the 2002 season.
Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III was in prediction mode this week when he said the Las Vegas Raiders are being slept on.
“We are SLEEPING on the Raiders,” RGIII said. “Everyone is enamored with the Chargers and 6x Reigning AFC WEST Champion Chiefs for good reason, but the @Raiders are a PLAYOFF TEAM THAT GOT BETTER!”
The NFL analyst and possible free agent QB pointed to the additions of Davante Adams and Chandler Jones as one reason the Raiders could be a team to watch during the upcoming season.
“Trading for Davante Adams and signing Chandler Jones was HUGE! Now Josh McDaniels has to deliver.”

“It’s going to be fun,” Carr said, per Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “No one thinks anything of us, and I think that’s what makes it fun is you always have to put the ball down and play the football games.”
Las Vegas heading into 2022 has new head coach Josh McDaniels as well as Carr returning after setting a career high with 4,804 passing yards, while he has an exciting new weapon in All-Pro wideout Davante Adams.
The 2022 season for the Raiders could be very special.
