Lamar Jackson showed exactly why he felt he should be paid the big money with a touchdown for the Baltimore Ravens against the New York Jets on Sunday.
Despite having all of the offseason and preseason to work out a new deal, the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson were unable to come to an agreement on a new deal.
It was announced this week that despite Jackson’s demands to sign a new contract before Week 1 of the regular season, he enters the year without a contract beyond the end of the 2022 season.
With the help of Jackson, the Ravens tore the Jets to shreds and that continued in the third quarter with an exquisite pass from Jackson to Devin Duvernay, but this one pass was a no-look pass.
The only difference is the hoopla around it was non-existence.
Robert Griffin III made sure it got the praise from fans the same way it would if Patrick Mahomes had done it.
