Robert Griffin III threw salt in the wounds of Cowboys fans when they weren’t even expecting it.
Brett Maher had a rough outing in the playoffs, even though he ended it well in the team’s final game. Despite the great regular season that he had, where he converted over 90% of his kicks, in the playoffs, he missed five extra-point conversions, including four in one game for the Dallas Cowboys against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His name was brought up over the weekend during the Pro Bowl as kickers competed in a challenge called Kick-Tac-Toe. As is customary during these games, the AFC and the NFC went head-to-head.
After Jason Myers failed to get anywhere close to the Tic-Tac-Toe board, Robert Griffin III trolled Maher by bringing him up.
Cold blooded.

With all the buzz around the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff changes, owner Jerry Jones has reportedly made it clear that the team would start over at kicker.
Maher finished the regular season making 29 of 32 field goals and 50 of 53 extra-point attempts in 17 games. His last impression did him in when the Cowboys needed him to perform the most.
Maher also holds the record for most 60-plus-yard field goals in a career. He will likely land on his feet somewhere else.
