On Monday, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe responded to the Carolina Panthers’ pursuit of Baker Mayfield and Robby Anderson openly rejecting that idea.
Sharpe said he wasn’t nearly good enough to have his input be considered when it came to roster decisions.
Anderson took to Twitter to address these negative comments.
“I wanna holla at y’all straight up like men and speak for myself let’s make it happen no hard feelings bra @RealSkipBayless @ShannonSharpe,” he wrote.
Sharpe fired back and said to reach out to Bayless or the show itself noting that “it’s not my department.”

This past year, the former undrafted wideout logged a career-low of 519 yards and five touchdowns with Sam Darnold at the helm. The year prior (his first season with the Panthers), Anderson notched a career-high 1,096 yards and three TDs.
Anderson not wanting Mayfield is very odd, considering the QB would be the best quarterback Anderson has played with since entering the league with the Jets in 2016.
