Robbie Anderson may have changed his name, but it did not change his fortunes.
With his third team and on his third name in the past three years, Robbie Chosen received word he did not make the Dolphins’ 53-man roster.
Chosen failed to differentiate himself in a No. 3 receiver competition with the likes of River Cracraft, Braxton Berrios, and Cedrick Wilson. It was an uphill battle for Chosen to make this team that is this deep at the wide receiver position.
He wasn’t productive in recent preseason action for the Dolphins.
Chosen signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2016. He was in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2022 before he agreed to a two-year deal. However, he was traded during the 2022 season to the Cardinals.
Arizona opted to release Anderson this offseason.
