Hold your horses, everyone!
Just a short time ago it was announced that Rob Gronkowski would be retiring from the NFL for the second time in his career. The first obviously came back in 2019, when Gronk announced he was hanging up the cleats, only to return one year later with Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
Well, according to Gronk’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, the future Hall of Fame tight end could actually be looking at a third retirement down the road, as Rosenhause hinted that a Gronk comeback remains a very real possibility either this season or next.
If Gronkowski were to return, you’d have to think it would be with whichever team Brady was playing for at the moment. However, the renowned party animal has also stated publicly that he would consider playing with Joe Burrow in Cincinnati.
Whatever the case may be, it sounds like there’s a good chance we haven’t seen the last of Gronk on an NFL field.
