On Thursday afternoon, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers set social media on fire when they landed former star tight end Rob Gronkowski in a trade with the New England Patriots.
Gronk informed them he wanted to come back, so they shipped him to Tampa for a fourth-round pick.
Gronk would soon reach out to Jay Glazer and react to him being back on the field.
Tom Brady would also make his feelings known by posting a picture of himself smiling on his Instagram story:
Gronk and Brady formed one of the most dynamic offensive attacks in football over the past decade. Gronkowski played nine seasons for the Patriots alongside Brady and it saw the duo win 3 Super Bowls as teammates in the 2014, 2016, and 2018 seasons, though Gronkowski missed the 2016 Super Bowl due to injury.

Speaking on ESPN’s SportsCenter Tuesday night, Rosenhaus said the discussions began shortly after Brady went to Tampa.
“He loves new England. He loves the Patriots organization, Coach (Bill) Belichick, the Krafts, his teammates that are still there. He had an amazing run in New England. It was just time for him to continue his career with Tom Brady in Florida with Tampa,” said Rosenhaus. “It was something cool and exciting and challenging for him. He’s well rested and looking forward to playing with Tom again.”
