The countdown until a new quarterback continues to go on for the Raiders who made it clear they will be moving on from Derek Carr this offseason. One of the options for the Las Vegas Raiders is seven-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady.
The connection with Josh McDaniels is the obvious reason. His former offensive coordinator will make it an easy transition for Brady if he decides to take his talents to Las Vegas.
Rob Gronkowski is a former teammate of Brady and he truly believes that if the quarterback’s only two options were the Raiders or the Buccaneers, he would stay in Tampa Bay.
“He’s been there now for three years,” Gronkowski said when asked if Brady had a better shot to play for the Raiders or Buccaneers. “It’s just such a great organization. They’ve got such great people in the front office. So if I were to take a guess right now over those two I would have to say Tampa Bay Buccaneers.”
Despite a bad year, Brady should have a number of suitors this offseason, including his current team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They currently have nobody in palce to takeover that could even keep them close to playing for a playoff spot next season or beyond.
This offseason has already seen a number of changes as Tampa fired offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and a number of other coaches.

Brady’s got a tough decision to make and retirement will be on the table. He will be 46 this year and doesn’t want to keep playing just to lose in playoff games. The team was ousted out of the Wild Card round by the Dallas Cowboys and the stagnant offense could not do anything all game long, just as they did during the regular season.
The Buccaneers had a down year but they were still better than the 6-11 Raiders. However, they do feature Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller. If they improve the offensive line, Brady just might be headed there.
