Rob Gronkowski continues to play with our hearts.
The retired NFL tight end has been rumored to make his return at some point during the 2019 NFL season since the very day he announced his retirement.
Gronk was recently with the guys over at Barstool Sports when he joked to Dave Portnoy that week 14 would be a great time to come back to the Pats!
The Patriots are absolutely loaded after signing star WR Antonio Brown, so Gronk won’t even be asked to do much if he comes back. His very presence will stretch the field even more than it already is when Josh Gordon and Brown are on it.
Gronk has previously stated that he retired because of the various injuries he dealt with while playing professional football, revealing one of his ugliest injuries where his head took such a beating that a liquid started to form in his skull.
“No lie, I felt my head, I used to have liquid,” Gronkowski said. “It used to be thick, like, my head used to be thicker, like a centimeter of liquid in some spots, and you feel it. I’d be like, ‘What the heck?’ You could put indents in my head, but now, finally, I’m getting the right treatments and doing the right things.”
