Rob Gronkowski might play around with coming back into the NFL, but the more he talks about the injuries he’s suffered, the more you think he is not coming back to all that pain.
The New England Patriots entered the 2019 NFL season with a glaring hole in their lineup without Gronk, who might be arguably the greatest tight end in NFL history.
Gronk seems to be enjoying retirement, and with that comes a bunch of interviews and revealing information.
He recently spoke with CBS on the amount of injuries he’s had and that’s when he stated he’s had nine surgeries as well as a scary number of injuries to his head.
“I truly believe any injury that you receive is fixable though. I went through it. I had 9 surgeries. Probably had like 20 concussions in my life, like, no lie. I remember 5, like, blackout ones.”
For his health, it may be a great idea for Gronk to remain retired and just the millions of dollars he’s accumulated during his career. He has nothing else to prove.
