Rob Gronkowski was involved in a huge trade from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last month, but it came just weeks after he became the WWE 24/7 Champion at Wrestlemania.
He still has that title and realizes that anyone can take it from him.
The Bucs tight end recently joined his brother Chris on the Gronk’d UP podcast where he opened up about seeing Buccaneers’ head coach Bruce Arians as a possible threat to his title.
“Imagine coming out of the meeting room, I’m like looking to my left down the hallway … looking to my right to make sure no one is out of the meetings yet, and then all of a sudden … Coach Arians just comes out of nowhere with a flying elbow and takes me out and pins me and becomes the 24/7 champ,” Gronk says.
“That would be legendary. That would be an honor to lose to him.”
The whole point of the 24/7 belt is that anyone can take it at anytime. Hopefully, this leads to a WWE-NFL crossover and he loses the belt on the football field.
“So many different people coming at me from all angles.”
