The LA Bowl, featuring the UCLA Bruins battling the Boise State Broncos, was one of six Football Bowl Subdivision postseason games staged on Saturday. This game was memorable for one reason only: Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski helped sing the national anthem prior to the Starco Brands LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk between UCLA and Boise State on Saturday evening in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.
It was hard to ignore just how badly off-pitch he was on this day.
Gronkowski greeted the teams with his rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner alongside the Los Angeles-based New Directions Veterans Choir.
The FOX football analyst previously was a guest host for New Year’s Eve in Times Square and signed a multi-year deal to host the game. The former Patriot and Buccaneer tight end takes over for late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted the game in 2021 and 2022.
Gronkowski also helped supervise the game’s opening coin toss and also emcee the trophy ceremony.
