With Tom Brady “retired,” it does not appear that Rob Gronkowski will be following him to do the same.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end has yet to reveal his plans for the 2022 season but it feels like that decision is coming soon. On top of his decision is some eye-popping comments he made in regards of one quarterback he would like to play with.
The All-Pro tight end has made it clear that he would love to play with Joe Burrow on the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I love the way Joe Burrow presents himself on the field. Regardless of the outcome, the Super Bowl was a great game and he left his best out there,” Gronkowski said. “I’ve watched him since college, he’s confident in the pocket, and he just slings it out into the play. I love his swag, he’s killing it right now and I think we’re going to see a bright future ahead for him.”
Not hard to why he would like to play with Burrow as the Bengals are fresh off a Super Bowl appearance against the Rams.
An injury-riddled season caused Gronkowski to miss five games, but he still finished with 55 catches for 802 yards and six touchdowns.
