Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Rob Gronkowski has made an announcement as it pertains to his future on the back of a cryptic tweet posted this week.
Gronk is not returning to the NFL, nor is he headed back to WWE.
Fans were hopeful of seeing him return to the field, as he’s known to join a team late in the year before helping them win the Super Bowl.
It doesn’t appear he’s set to do so this time. The four-time Super Bowl winner took to Twitter late Thursday morning to announce a partnership with bookmakers and fantasy sports giants FanDuel
The 33-year-old posted a funny video in which he admitted he’s bored while searching for random things to do in his house.
“I’m bored,” he sort of shouted.
“I’m bored. I may go back and play… Just kidding,” he sang to some very poor ukelele strumming. “But I really need something to do.”

He would get a call from FanDuel – not Tom Brady, unfortunately – before announcing his partnership with the oddsmakers
“What’s up everyone? It’s Gronk. I’m super excited to be joining the FanDuel family. We’ve got a lot of great things coming, so stay tuned,” he said.
FanDuel retweeted Gronk’s tweet, welcoming him to the brand. It appears he’s joined them as some sort of ambassador. We’re certain to know for sure soon enough, knowing Gronkowski.
