Rob Gronkowski seems to think he knows the best option for the New York Jets when it comes to the quarterback position.
Kirk Cousins has been quite spectacular in 2023, yet the Minnesota Vikings are 0-3. If the team drops to 0-4 this weekend, the retired tight end believes the Vikings should cut their losses and part ways with the veteran QB and the Jets should be right there to pick him up.
“If for some reason the Vikings lose, Kirk Cousins should be shipped out 100%,” Gronk said on the Up & Adams show. “He should be shipped out to the New York Jets.
“… They need to fix that quarterback position this year if they want to win some games.”
Through week three of the NFL, Cousins has passed for a whopping 1,075 yards and nine touchdowns. Averaging nearly 360 yards per game, he has the most passing yards in the NFL thus far. His nine touchdowns are also the most in the league.
He’s only thrown two interceptions.
Statistically, Cousins has easily been the best quarterback in the NFL entering week four. Somehow, he has still yet to win a game.

The struggle to run the ball is what’s forced Minnesota to have such a pass-heavy offense and though it has been successful, they still cannot win a game.
It may be time for Cousins to have a change of scenery.
