Gronkowski secured seven of 10 targets for 115 yards in the Buccaneers’ 28-24 win over the Jets on Sunday. That should’ve been one of the top storylines of the day, but as you know, Antonio Brown happened.
Per Megan Gailey, Gronkowski had a basic response when asked about Antonio Brown’s early exit on Sunday. During his postgame press conference, Gronk told reporters, “I dunno I was out there smashing my head against 300 pound linemen.”
It was just another case of Gronk showing off what he learned after all those years in New England — how to properly deflect a question and avoid causing a stir.

As you know, Antonio Brown stripped down on the sidelines while the team was on offense. He threw items in the stands, gave the piece sign and made his way off the field and out of the stadium.

Tom Brady led the team on a rally and finished it with a 33-yard strike to Cyril Grayson with just 15 seconds on the clock.
Brady finished 34-50, throwing for 410 yards and three touchdowns to one pick.
Given Antonio Brown’s release after he abruptly left the sideline mid-game Sunday, Gronkowski could be in for another sizeable role in the Week 18 finale against the Panthers.
