Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski dropped a cryptic three-word tweet on Wednesday, and you can probably guess some of the reactions from social media.
Gronkowski announced his retirement from football for a second time back in June, but there has been speculation that he could return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a late playoff push and title run.
The four-time Super Bowl champion has previously stated that he’s not returning to football, but his latest tweet has some fans wondering if he’s hinting at another comeback:
And of course, the tweet led to plenty of calls for the 33-year-old to end his second retirement from football:

The Buccaneers have struggled mightily without Gronkowski this year. The team sits atop the awful NFC South division with a 6-8 record, but at this rate, it’s tough to envision them getting out of the Wild Card Round given the state of the offense.
