Rob Gronkowski is always in a joking mood and displayed that when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week.
The Tampa Bay Bucs tight end stated the New England Patriots will sit players if they are close to hitting a performance-incentive bonus. Gronkowski said the Patriots “will probably pull you” before you hit an incentive bonus in your contract.

Soon after commenting, Gronkowski admitted he “shouldn’t have said that.”
The original topic only came up after Gronkowski earned an additional $1 million from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their final game last season. The five-time Pro Bowl tight end knew during the game how many receptions he needed to hit his contract incentive and Tom Brady made sure he got it done.

Gronkowski finished the game with a season-high 137 receiving yards on seven catches.
