Riley Gaines is loving what an NFL general manager did this week with a message on his shirt.
The former University of Kentucky swimmer took to Twitter to show her support for a shirt worn by an NFL general manager. At a pre-draft conference, Detroit Lions General Manager Brad Holmes risked his reputation by wearing a t-shirt that had “Support Women And Girls In Sports” inscribed on the front.
Holmes was not questioned as to why he was wearing the shirt, but his message on it is pretty clear.
Gaines is fighting for fairness in girls’ and women’s sports and going against transgender females battling against biological girls in all sports. Gaines has been in the fight ever since Lia Thomas, who was born a male, won the NCAA women’s swimming title.
She recently ripped President Biden when he promised to veto a bill that would prevent biological males from participating in women’s sports.
Transgender women in sports have been a topic of discussion for quite some time now. Many people have differing opinions on whether or not transgender women should be allowed to compete in women’s sports.

The issue of transgender women participating in sports has been a topic of much debate and discussion in recent years. The controversy arises from concerns about fairness and competitive advantage, as well as questions about the rights of transgender individuals to participate in sports. Opponents of transgender women competing in women’s sports argue that allowing them to do so creates an unfair advantage due to potential differences in biological factors such as muscle mass and testosterone levels.
