Executives at FOX Sports have found, perhaps, the perfect replacement for Shannon Sharpe on FS1’s “Undisputed” program.
According to a report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, former NFL All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl 48 champion Richard Sherman is replacing Sharpe on “Undisputed”, where he’ll work alongside Skip Bayless:
“Richard Sherman is joining FS1 to spar with Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” in the wake of Shannon Sharpe’s departure from the program, The Post has learned.
Sherman will go at it with Bayless on around 50-100 shows per year, mostly during football season.”
Marchand added that Sherman will continue his analyst role on Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football” program. It was also noted that the contract hasn’t been formally signed, but that Sherman and FS1 officials have a deal “in place.”
You may recall that back in 2013, Sherman infamously called out Bayless on ESPN’s “First Take” during his appearance as a special guest. Sherman told Bayless “You have never accomplished anything,” and “I’m better than you.”

That was 10 years ago, though, and Marchand added that the two had a good conversation last month when they spoke at the The Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel. Presumably, it’s now all water under the bridge.
One of the most dominant defensive players of his era, Sherman was a five-time Pro Bowler and a three-time First-team All-Pro. He retired with 37 career interceptions and 116 pass defenses.
