Richard Sherman thought he had the upper hand in this Twitter beef…until he didn’t. And in the end, it was the twitter troll who ended up winning this battle by unanimous decision.
After getting injured during Thursday night’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback took to twitter to tell fans that he was “disappointed,” but confident he would bounce back even stronger than before. That’s when the troll suggested that Sherman “couldn’t possibly come back worse.”
Sherman took the bait, of course. And the rest, as they say, is history:

Just when it seemed like Sherman had Kyle cornered with his “I could come back as you” comment, Kyle bounced back with the finisher off the top rope.
Richard Sherman is only expected to miss a few weeks at the most with his hamstring injury, but there’s no telling how long he’ll need to recover from those third degree burns.
