The Cleveland Browns shocked everybody last season by not only getting into the playoffs, but actually defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round.
Unfortunately for them, they ran into the Kansas City Chiefs in the next round and got eliminated.
Throughout the 2020 season, the Browns found themselves giving up a ton of points to opposing offenses, so an upgrade is surely needed. Well, CJ McCollum has their back. The Browns need help at corner and the Portland Trailblazers star made sure to help them out there by taking to Twitter on Thursday and plea for Richard Sherman to sign with the team.
“Yoooo @RSherman_25. Just want you to know. We would love to have you in The land with my squad @Browns. If you need recommendations on places to live or restaurants let me know,” McCollum wrote on Thursday night.
The 32-year-old cornerback responded back:
“I appreciate you @CJMcCollum! We will see how the process pans out in a month! But I hear you,” Sherman tweeted in response.

Sherman is coming off a season where he played in just five games during the regular season after sustaining a calf strain. When he finally returned to the field, it was already too late as the 49ers had no shot of making the playoffs.
The 32-year-old recorded 18 tackles and an interception.
