Whats next for Tua? If it’s up to Robert Griffin III, he would have the Miami Dolphins QB sit out for the remainder of the year.
Tagovailoa entered the concussion protocol for the second time this season.
Robert Griffin III took to Twitter and stated that Tua’s long term health is more important than how this season plays out.
When discussing Tagovailoa’s situation on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, Griffin added more to his statement.
“You’ve got to put the person before the player,” Griffin said. “I’m more concerned about Tua and his longevity of life than I am about whether he’s gonna play on Sunday.”

Fans thought Tagovailoa might have gotten concussed from being taken down on a play shortly before halftime in the Dolphins’ defeat by the Packers on Christmas Day. He would then go on to throw three interceptions in the fourth quarter.
Tagovailoa’s second concussion of the year saw him stretchered and taken to the hospital after going into the fencing position. That play happened just days after he was wobbly on his feet after hitting his head on the ground against the Bills.
It’s been a rough year for Tua with his health and he just may need to shut it down before his career gets taken out by these hits to the head.
