Joe Burrow made a statement today at Arrowhead Stadium as the Cincinnati Bengals’ sophomore quarterback ended the Chiefs’ reign atop the AFC by taking them down in overtime earlier today.
The win ended the Chiefs’ two-year run as AFC champs, while bringing the Bengals back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1988 season. Joe Burrow also became the first ever number one overall pick to take his team to the Super Bowl in one of his first two seasons.
The Bengals’ franchise QB is certainly living the high life right now. He’s been showing it too with some of his apparel –specifically the bling around his neck.
Following the Bengals’ AFC Championship victory, one reporter decided to ask what many may have been thinking: Is Joe Burrow’s bling real?
Considering the fact that Joey B inked a $36-million contract as a rookie (and he’s likely to receive a monstrous extension in the near future), you’d have to assume the youngster wouldn’t settle for fugazi. And he confirmed that when confronted with the question:
Burrow will be looking to add more ice to his collection in two weeks when his Bengals represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. No one expected Cincy to get this far, so their season should already be considered a success. But that doesn’t mean they’ll want to leave SoFi Stadium empty handed on February 13.
