Earlier this month, it was revealed by Front Office Sports’ Michael McCarthy that Fox News was trying to snag Will Cain away from ESPN.
It looks to be a lot of truth to that because New York Post’s Andrew Marchand said that departure “appears imminent.”
“He is soon expected to sign a contract with Fox News and Fox Nation, according to sources.
ESPN declined comment, while a Fox News spokeswoman did not immediately return a message seeking comment.”
The 45-year-old Cain has hosted his own show on ESPN Radio while also appearing on programs such as First Take. The move to sports to being political will be ideal since he’s contributed to The Blaze and CNN before signing on at ESPN in March 2015.
The shake-up at the Worldwide leader in sports continues.
