The NFL world was going crazy after Tom Brady took off 11 days from preseason training due to personal reasons, and now sources are alleging that there might be trouble in paradise with wife Gisele Bündchen. It seems that the athlete’s decision to un-retire might be the reason for those issues.
“Tom and Gisele are in a fight right now,” a Page Six source revealed. A second insider added, “There’s been trouble in the marriage over his decision to un-retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids.”
Despite this, the future hall of famer and NFL icon is focused on being a “super dad” to the couple’s children, Benjamin, Vivian, and Jack, the 15-year-old son he shares with Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynihan.
“He’s very sad at the moment. Friends know they’ve had a serious disagreement this time. It seems that Gisele gets mad and says things like she’s leaving him, but in the past, they’ve always made up. But maybe this time it is more serious,” a source told Page Six about the situation. “He’s with the kids, and is just trying to be super dad.”
The couple has been open about the sacrifices they have made as a family for Brady’s NFL career and after getting a taste of her husband retiring, only to see him come back, it may have been the straw to break the camel’s back.
His about-face decision only 40 days later could certainly bring about tension in a marriage if it wasn’t mutually agreed upon.

Bündchen has reportedly left their home in Tampa, Florida and retreated to their estate in Costa Rica. Brady addressed his absence upon his return to practice.
“It’s all personal … everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with,” he explained. “We all have really unique challenges to our life. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s**t going on.”
