Isaiah Wilson has turned into a complete bust for the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans selected him No. 29 overall out of Georgia with the expectation that he’d eventually start at right tackle. That never worked out as he played less than five snaps all season long.
“The player that was here in the fall in Nashville was not the player we evaluated,” general manager Robinson told reporters, per TitansInsider. “He’s going to have to make a determination if he wants to play pro football. That’s on him.”
Wilson appeared to be done with the team as stated by his deleted tweet:
“Im done with football as a Titan… No further comments,” Wilson wrote.
It appears things get deeper than that as Wilson has likely been upset since earlier this month when the team failed to acknowledge his birthday on social media.

“Per sources, Wilson had begun to sour on his situation in Tennessee after not receiving a customary birthday message from the team via their social media accounts earlier this month. Wilson turned 22 on February 12.”
The Titans signed Wilson to a four-year, $11.6 million contract in August. Tennessee would have a $5.4 million salary-cap charge if it releases him.
As this point, it would be best for both sides to move on.
