The Houston Texans are not budging on getting a tremendous haul for Deshaun Watson. The team is reportedly now willing to listen on trade offers for star quarterback Deshaun Watson, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
According to Pelissero, the Texans’ asking price for Watson is high and it would take at least three first-round picks to land Watson, according to the report.
Chris Mortensen reports two league executives tell him the Texans want a combination of five high draft picks and starting-caliber players.
As you know, Watson reported to Texans training camp this weekend, but still maintains that he wants out. Showing up to camp was to avoid being fined $50,000 for every missed day. For now, the NFL does not plan to place Watson on the commissioner’s exempt list.
The 22 lawsuits against Watson accuse him of sexual misconduct and assault.
