Doug Pederson may not be safe after all.
After a controversial loss to the Washington Football Team in Week 17, Pederson’s status in Philadelphia could be in jeopardy.
NFL insider John McMullen stated rumors have surfaced that there could be a trade involving the current Eagles head coach putting him as the New York Jets head coach.
If not traded, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen describes Pederson’s hold on the job as “not firm,” and says owner Jeffrey Lurie could ax Pederson if he’s not “confident about Pederson’s vision.”
Pederson led the Eagles to their first-ever Super Bowl title three years ago in his second season on the job, but the team has gotten worse almost every single year since then.
