Things are going to get worse before they get better in Pittsburgh.
According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II is currently in Florida. He is hoping to have a sit-down with his disgruntled WR to see if he can hash some things out, but the feeling isn’t quite mutual on that meeting.
According to Rapoport, Brown has no intention of meeting with Rooney and is choosing to address the issue only via social media.
Brown seems to be set in his ways of wanting to be traded, especially after he dropped a goodbye message to Steelers fans on social media. Brown has formally requested a trade, but the team doesn’t have to grant him one since he’s under contract through the 2021 season.
The Steelers might not want to part ways with Brown, but if he continues to be a nuisance on social media and in the locker room, the team will be forced to change his scenery for the betterment of the franchise.
