Aaron Rodgers struggles in the playoffs since winning his one and only title has been well documented.
2021 was supposed to be different with how the team was playing on both sides of the ball in the regular season. The more things change the more they stay the same.
The team had a home game against the San Francisco 49ers and nothing was happening as they thought and the Niners walked out of Lambeau Field with the victory and Rodgers walked out with a winless record against the team and questions about his future.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, there are many inside the Packers organzation that truly believe he cannot get it done in the playoffs.
“For some reason he hasn’t been great all that often in the playoffs since the 2010 Super Bowl run,” Demovsky said. “He’s 7-9 in his past 16 playoff games. Yes, he’s still spectacular from September through December, but even some within the Packers organization wonder if he can still do it in January and February.”
Whomever feels that way are clearly not in charge of anything important because the team appears to be putting on a full-court press as they try to keep star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay has hired Tom Clements as their quarterbacks coach, who was previously with the Packers from 2006 to 2016, and is a coach that Rodgers has credited several times for his development as an NFL quarterback.
“I’m thankful, deeply thankful, to guys like Joe Philbin and Tom Clements and Alex Van Pelt, who’ve helped me understand that facet of leadership and being a quarterback,” Rodgers said last month.
Rodgers had been frustrated with his lack of say in the team’s personnel and coaching decisions, which the Packers appear to be rectifying this offseason.
The Packers know that Rodgers gives them their best chance to win anything and are making it clear that Jordan Love is just not that guy right now.
