The Seahawks still have one of the top starting quarterbacks in the NFL in Russell Wilson and they absolutely know this. Even if his performance over the last two seasons hasn’t been up to his usual high standard, Wilson remains a top-10 QB at worst.
According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the Seahawks have shown no interest in trading Wilson unless they’re absolutely forced to do so.
Basically, Wilson would have to demand a trade.
A report last year indicated Wilson was particularly unhappy with the team’s pass protection while he noted that it is “important to make sure we do everything we can, including myself” to make sure that there are fewer sacks and disrupted plays because of opposing pass rushes. Wilson was sacked 47 times in 2020 and 33 times this past season, but he did miss a number of games to help that number stay down.
It was also reported that Wilson would okay three potential locations and waive his no-trade clause if he was traded — the Giants, Saints and Broncos.
Denver seems to be a quarterback away from being a legit contender, but they are also being connected to Aaron Rodgers as well. The Saints can be cut from the list right away, as it would take a miraculous cap savior to fixate that deal into their books.

Giants owner John Mara stated that the team would not pursue Deshaun Watson, in part because of their cap situation, which means they would likely be out on Wilson as well.
Wilson is under contract through the 2023 season.
