One of the biggest NFL rumors of the NFL offseason came by way of Chris Simms of NBC Sports who stated the Seattle Seahawks were actually shopping Russell Wilson in 2018.
He then noted that the franchise had floated the idea of trading Wilson to the Cleveland Browns for the No. 1 overall pick.
The Browns ended up taking Baker Mayfield, and Wilson signed a record-breaking deal with Seattle.
The story has somehow gotten even wilder after Simms doubled down and claimed the Seahawks were likely going to replace Wilson with Josh Allen if they had parted ways with Wilson.
It’s still early on to tell, but as of right now, neither one of those players are on par with Russell Wilson brings to the Seahawks.
