According to ESPN’s John Clayton via 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is attempting to get Antonio Brown to join him on his current team.
However, Jenna Laine of ESPN reports that the Buccaneers are actively having conversations with Antonio Brown to get him back with the team.
The 32-year-old former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010 was traded by the team to the Raiders, but never actually played a game for them because of his behavior. He later signed a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the Patriots, but only played in one game and lasted just eleven days before they cut him as well.
The Buccaneers signed him to a one-year deal worth up to $2.5 million last year.
In 2020, Brown appeared in eight games for the Buccaneers and caught 45 passes for 483 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
