The Seattle Seahawks really bolstered their wide receiver corps this past week when they claimed Josh Gordon off waivers after his time in New England came to an abrupt end.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter then revealed on Sunday that the Seahawks actually entertained the possibility of signing Antonio Brown before they claimed Gordon.
Russell Wilson was reportedly in favor of the move Brown and pushed for it.
Schefter was also told by agent Drew Rosenhaus that there are “a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over.”
The 31-year-old has been such a huge problem off the field for three teams in 2019 which has seen him being traded from the Steelers and released by the Raiders and Patriots.
