Reggie Bush was a feared player on the gridiron. His insane skill at running back certainly put some fear in every defender who met him at the college and NFL levels. However, there may be a new reason to steer clear of the former Heisman winner.
According to TMZ, on Tuesday night at around 11 PM, his mansion in Encino was the target of a home invasion. However, any serious trouble was avoided when Bush could scare the criminals away himself.
He was on the back pad when they first entered his property, and after yelling at them, they fled before any real trouble occurred.
Of course, at 6’0″ and 203 pounds, not many people would want to get into a fight with Bush.

Police would later show up at his house and find broken glass near the back entrance of the house, though it has not been confirmed whether or not anything was taken.

Reggie Bush Was Recently Given His Heisman Trophy Back
Despite that attempted home invasion, 2024 has been an amazing year for Bush.
In April, it was reported that the Heisman Trust decided to reinstate the Heisman trophy, which he had won for his 2005 season spent at USC.
It was easily one of the greatest years a college running back had ever had. Bush rushed for 1,740 yards and 16 touchdowns while also catching 37 passes for 478 yards and two more touchdowns. He also had a combined 46 kick and punt returns for 672 yards and a touchdown.
He was also named to the All-American team and was later drafted second overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 2006 NFL Draft.
There was no doubt he deserved the award that year and could finally put a lot of the drama surrounding it behind him.
