Each and every year, NFL Combine interviews get weirder than the next and we have already had one of them.
Cole Bishop is a multiyear starter with very good size for a safety at 6’2″ and 207 pounds.
Before combine live drills began on Feb. 29th, each prospect was given a few days to speak to teams and undergo a series of medical exams.
The Philadelphia Eagles held an interview with Utah star safety Cole Bishop and he ended up doing something he had no clue he would have to do.
Bishop revealed to the media that the Eagles asked him to shoot three mid-range jumpers.
Bishop went 0-of-3 on his shots. We have no clue if the team at least let him warm up first.

A former three-star recruit out of Georgia, Bishop played right away as a freshman for the Utes and started the last six games of the season, earning a Pac-12 Honorable Mention bid in the process.
He continued his strong start in 2022 where he earned another Pac-12 Honorable Mention. He would lead the team in tackles that season.
In 2023, he finished as a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist and earned a spot on the College Football Network’s All-American Second Team.
