It looks like Tom Brady is not going to get Antonio Brown back in 2019.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Sunday that the Patriots have zero plans of re-signing WR Antonio Brown, despite the fact that they could use receiver help and increased rumors of a possible reunion.
Brown apologized to the Patriots and owner Robert Kraft for his behavior after he was released, but the damage was likely already done once he lashed out.
Schefter says New England hasn’t considered bringing him back since they made the decision to release him a few months ago.
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says teams are interested in signing him.
“There are teams out there that would love to sign him once [his case] is resolved,” Rosenhaus said.
Brown is likely to sign with any team in 2019 due to the fact the NFL’s investigation into sexual assault claims against him probably won’t be finished until the off-season.
