It looks like the New England Patriots do not want to lose Tom Brady.
Much of the 2019 season, the defense had to carry the team as the offense couldn’t really put it together without explosive play-makers on that side of the ball. Antonio Brown was supposed to fix that, but his off-the-field issues became too much and the team parted ways with him after eleven days.
According to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, the Patriots are reportedly eyeing Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and tight end Hunter Henry.
Green will be 32-years-old this year, but he is a seven-time Pro Bowl selection who averaged about 79 catches for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns during a seven-season stretch from 2011 to 2017.
The 25-year-old Henry is coming off a 2019 in which he totaled 55 catches for 652 yards — both career highs.
