The Patriots are “unlikely” to target the former Buccaneers QB, NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reported Friday, per a high-ranking New England official.
“We can win with Jameis, I know that,” Head coach Bruce Arians said via NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport back in February. That was before rumors of Brady coming to the team became seriously real.
The 26-year-old had a weird 2019 campaign, as he tossed 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions and racked up 5,109 yards. His final pass of his career with the team turned out to be a pick-6.
