ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Saturday that the New England Patriots are indeed expected to be disciplined for the acknowledged gameday video violations during the game between the Browns and Bengals.
Schefter goes on to state that discipline from the NFL is expected to be handed down in the next two weeks.
Mark Maske of Washington Post reported earlier in the week that the league found no evidence up to this point linking Patriots HC Bill Belichick or others from the team’s football staff to what was recorded by a video crew last month.
The Patriots are said to have notified the Cleveland Browns of what they were doing, but failed to do so with the league and the Bengals, who they would play the following week.
