The Rob Gronkowski rumors can finally end as it was revealed on Tuesday that he informed the New England Patriots that he not only wants to return to football, but do so as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
According to Rapoport, Gronkowski wants to join Tom Brady with the Buccaneers, which means they would have to work out a trade.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter later added that the Patriots and Buccaneers have been discussing a trade for Gronkowski.
The 30-year-old retired from the game after the Patriots defeated the Rams in the Super Bowl to give him his third ring.
He then took his talents to the WWE, where he hosted Wrestlemanie 36 and became the 24/7 champion.
