Now that Davante Adams has been traded, all of the juicy gossip is starting to spill over onto Twitter, where we are now finding out just how fractured the relationship between him and the team really was.
Moments ago, it was reported that Adams had been traded by the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders for their 2022 first- and second-round picks.
Many wondered what Aaron Rodgers thought about all of this. But we got the answer to that question rather quickly, as it was reported shortly after that the reigning MVP already knew he’d be without his biggest weapon next season when he signed his extension days ago.
And now, we are also learning that the Packers actually tried to pay Adams what the Raiders are giving him (five years, $141.25-million), but the Pro Bowl wideout refused, opting to never play for the team again.

Adams was clearly angered by the way the Packers treated him coming off a season in which he put up an insane 123 catches for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Packers tried to play their star receiver, but in the end it was them who got played.
Good luck replacing that type of production.
