Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy has reportedly lost confidence of players in the locker room. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, “an overwhelming number of Bears players” want the team to part ways with Nagy.
“He lost some of the locker room last season, but now it’s gone,” one of Schultz’s sources said.
The players are simply tired of the inconsistent play of both the offense and the defense. Things only got worse this past Sunday when the team squandered away a 4th quarter lead with less than two minutes to play.
Nagy’s been criticized for mismanaging the quarterback competition between veteran Andy Dalton and rookie quarterback Justin Fields.
The team has to play on Thanksgiving and a loss to the winless Detroit Lions might be the final nail in the coffin for Nagy.
