After a shocking 2018 season where the Jacksonville Jaguars won their first AFC South title and then took the New England Patriots to the brink of being eliminated in the AFC Championship game, the Jaguars fell off a cliff in 2019.
A 3-1 start turned into being in dead last in the AFC South and pretty much everything could be contributed to poor quarterback play by Blake Bortles.
That can all change this offseason.
After the Baltimore Ravens traded Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos, that could lead to Nick Foles taking his talents down South.
There seems to be some mutual interest between the Eagles QB and the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Foles voided his 2019 option in an effort to become a free agent, but the eagles still have the option of placing the franchise tag on him with every intention of trading him and getting something back in return.

Garafolo adds that Foles may be more interested in Jacksonville than other teams, because of the talent that is already on the team.
Whatever the case may be, the 30-year-old is fully expected to have a new football team by the time the 2019 season begins.
