New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers reportedly pleaded guilty to a charge of cocaine possession this Thursday following his arrest in October of last year.
Peppers was taken into police custody following a domestic incident involving his girlfriend, with police later discovering the aforementioned controlled substance in his possession.
According to The Boston Globe, he admitted the substance was cocaine in front of a judge in a Massachusetts courtroom on Thursday and was ordered to stay out of trouble and to remain drug-free for the next four months.
The NFL player is still facing three other charges, including strangulation and assault and battery.

Police say Peppers’ girlfriend told them he shoved her head into a wall and choked her during the October incident. Safety has maintained his innocence on that front, while his lawyer has claimed to have footage that would prove his innocence.
TMZ reported back in October that Peppers’ partner claimed they were having intercourse around 4:00 a.m. when she got a phone call that got him angry. She accused him of pushing her out of the bedroom while she was still naked and “put his hands on her neck and pushed her head against the wall.”

He is said to have pushed her down a set of stairs thereafter.
Peppers was arrested for assault and battery. Police found a clear plastic bag with white powder in his wallet, which he told them was cocaine.
The 29-year-old was a first-round pick for the Cleveland Browns in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was traded to the New York Giants in 2019 before signing with the Patriots in 2022.
He agreed to a three-year deal with the team last year but was placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List following his arrest before being taken off in November.
