Instead of wearing their standard road white jerseys with gold pants, the San Francisco 49ers came out on the field for their week 17 game rocking their 1994 all-white throwback uniforms that would determine the NFC West champion.
San Francisco had lost eight consecutive games in Seattle, but went in Seattle and came out with a 26-21 victory.
The team would like a repeat of that success.
Following the victory over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game, it was reported by David Lombarid that the team was making a strong push to wear those unifroms for the Super Bowl in Miami, but Richard Sherman informed him that the league was not allowing it.

The 49ers wore those throwback jerseys for their last Super Bowl championship season, in 1994. The jerseys were based on the team’s 1955 uniforms.
