Coming into millions of dollars at such a young age for a lot of athletes can make bad habits even worse.
This week, an NF Pro Bowl player admitted something shocking about himself.
Chicago Bears Pro Bowler Jaylon Johnson opened up about seeing a therapist for sex addiction during his first press conference since agreeing to a four-year, $76 million extension to stay with the team.
“Jaylon Johnson just admitted he saw a therapist for sexual addiction last season. That might be a first for a new contract press conference opening statement,” Jon Greenberg tweeted.
‘It’s OK to go through stuff,’ he said, as quoted by NBC Chicago’s Josh Schrock. ‘It’s OK to not be perfect. … People feel like you got to put a mask on and have to cover it up. No, it’s OK.

Johnson thanked God and family members for helping him reach this point in his life.
Johnson is now capitalizing on his highest-earning potential to date, after his first Pro Bowl appearance and selection on the All-Pro second team, rather than playing on a one-year contract.
The four-year contract gets him back to market in 2028.
Johnson totaled 36 tackles, a career-high four interceptions—one of which he returned 39 yards for his first career touchdown—10 pass breakups, one tackle for loss and one forced fumble last season.
