The NFL was not satisfied with Deshaun Watson’s suspension. It was previously reported that Watson was offered a 12-game suspension with a fine close to $10 million. His camp declined that offer.
It was announced on Wednesday that the NFL will appeal Deshaun Watson’s six-game suspension.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided an update that the league will seeking to sit him down for a full year.
“The NFL is looking for an indefinite suspension,” Schefter said on ESPN’s NFL Live.
An indefinite suspension would put Watson’s entire 2022 season in jeopardy.

“NFL is expected to pursue a significant increase in punishment of Deshaun Watson, with some league sources predicting they will seek to suspend him for the entire season, per league sources.”
The NFLPA has two business days to file in writing a response to the NFL’s appeal.
