The National Football League is definitely doing their due diligence when it comes to investigating the multiple claims against Antonio Brown as he currently sits without a team following his release from the New England Patriots on Friday.
That release stemmed from Brown sending menacing and harassing type text messages to a second accuser that exposed his sexual misconduct to Sports Illustrated earlier in the week.
The NFL league office made sure to move quickly on this, and according to Ian Rapoport, the league has already met with her and asked questions regarding Brown adding her to a “text group asking friends to dig up her past.”
Brown is likely to be without a job until the NFL completes its investigation. That was the thinking until Brown took to Twitter on Sunday and announced he was done with the NFL.
Nobody truly believes this as he is likely venting from finding out the Patriots were not paying him his guarantees that he signed for 12 days ago.
